MPH Research Associate
Lucas Schiffer is a Research Associate at the ISPH. He has worked extensively in microbiome data analysis and focuses on reproducible methods using the R language. Prior to his work in bioinformatics, he studied in the health-related basic sciences and was a volunteer EMT. Most of all he enjoys using statistics and data science to find creative solutions to public health challenges. He is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish. He is a graduate of the MPH program at the CUNY School of Public Health & Health Policy.
Lucas is pursuing his doctoral degree in Bioinformatics at Boston University.
